Beyond music, Legendary orchestrates the vibe

Minky Isa, popularly known as Legendary, isn’t just a multi-faceted talent in the entertainment industry in Canada. He’s also actively involved in the social scene and is the brain behind many successful events and celebrity appearances in his city, Ottawa.

Legendary is known to bring people together to have a good time all year round. As a promoter for one of the most popular clubs in the area, The Palace, Legendary has brought talents to the city and orchestrated some of the most highly anticipated events in the region. He pioneered Hennessy Carolina’s trip to the city as well as Prettyboydo’s shows in Ottawa for the “Alarm” artist’s Pretty Please tour.

Legendary spearheads the Rhythm and Roses annual event in Ottawa that hosts people from different regions for a night filled with music, culture and lifestyle. The first edition took place last year with leading talents such as DJ Dynamiite on the line up. Legendary anticipates a larger crowd and an even more festive time at the sequel this february. His aim is to bring people from different cultures together to experience a diverse group of talents and personalities. This year, he plans to bring some major artists to the event and promises a phenomenal time for those who attend.

Alongside his personal interests in music and entertainment, he finds pleasure in discovering and managing talent in the area and is one of the four members of the music group, The Walkley Boyz. As a manager of one of the most popular afrobeat DJs in Ottawa, DJ Dynamiite, the entertainment pundit has plans for people other than himself.

There's a lot more the entrepreneur has up his sleeve as he explores his talent in different pockets of the field and prepares to host bigger shows and bring more people together to appreciate their culture and diversity.
